Setting up mfa in Discord

To set up MFA for your Discord account, you can: 


  1. Log in to your Discord account. 
  2. Click the gear icon near your username 
  3. Go to User Settings -> My Account 
  4. Click to Enable Multi-Factor Authentication 
  5. Download an authentication app like Authy or Microsoft Authenticator 
  6. Open the authentication app and create a new account 
  7. Scan a QR code or manually enter a code to connect your Discord account to the app 
  8. Record the numerical token generated by the app 
  9. Enter the token in the appropriate field on the Discord website 
  10. Click Activate
